Neon is dope but is now being grossly abused by too many schlock designers. Unlike the totally cute Disney Couture Collection, which has cute neon pink and green pieces - many accessories are going in the WRONG direction. People! We have the benefit of hindsight, we can cherry pick the cool 80’s and leave the rest to bad pop schlock history.

Ok, so the neon trend really got to me last night when I went to the hot new club in LA called “My House” – Yes that’s really the name and yes it’s that pretentious. Anyway, the club promoter – Brick - Yes that’s really his name and yes he’s really that pretentious too.  LOL So back to Brick’s party… He has all the lil’ hotties running wild but they dress like such s**t, way too trendy without any real personal style. BTW No Celebs at this party – after award season everyone clears out.  Thus the club scene is left to the hipsters, they really need to understand that NEON is an accent not a fashion movement. Just because you are a cute size 2 doesn’t give you the room to be head-to-toe trend-oid in NEON. News flash – it didn’t look right when my older sister wore it 20 years ago and it still doesn’t today…

Neon has the potential to accent an outfit in a fun – Punky Brewster way- Just don’t go over board like George Michael in WHAM! Punch up an outfit with a pair of hoops or a couple of bangles from Disney Couture and leave the rest to VH1 Classics.

Welcome Recessionistas!  Big shout out to everyone who visited LABuzzShop.com this weekend. We appreciate your patronage!  Stores may be hurting but LA Buzz Shop is humming with Celebrity Style.

Right now most of my homies are pretty bummed because they’re either total empty pockets with some lint or kind of broke-ish. I’m pretty much always in the latter category so this recession is nothing new.  Celebrity PR has SWAG perks but salaries are on the petite side, kind of like Nicole Richie.

Speaking of Ms. Richie - she was having a lovely time at Teddy’s last Friday with her husband and his twin bro - Benji & Joel Madden.  Its ultra cute the way The Madden Twins escort Nicole everywhere. A potentially mortifying moment arose when my friend Christy, who just returned from Idaho (don’t ask me why she went up there but I assuming she went “Green Acres” over some boy) saw Nicole and was star struck, even followed her into the bathroom. It was a little amateur but at least Christy wasn’t that obvious. Earlier that same night, Nicole and The Maddens were at Chateau Marmont for a friend’s birthday dinner. I love Chateau Marmont! It’s so sexy and scandalous! New Year’s Eve at the Chateau is yummy. If you can swing it I highly recommend it.

Saturday was a workday of sorts. I went shopping with a client of the firm. Think of me as a “BFF for Hire”. FYI That little starlet needs to break her Kitson habit. Oye, can she charge it up! Anyway, shopping with talent is always funny because they know they’re being watched and so love the attention. That is until they’re not made up for camera or get busted picking their nose. LOL. Meanwhile, I was rockin’ my Disney Couture Tinker Bell necklace and Landver Spike Studs. Of course the starlet wanted both pieces so I told her I would send them over to her on Monday. Just call me Santa.

Later that day I had to make an appearance at our company Holiday party, I was hoping to not bump into my boss, Cruella but alas my luck had run out… She was blitzed and feeling fabulous so she gave me some money. She then explained that I should go to her salon and “straighten out my bob”. OMG she has no style. Hello!! It’s a Rihanna bob! After that little excursion into the twilight zone I was off to my super fab friend and brilliant make-up artist, Donald’s house for another Holiday party. Mingled with a few Celebrity stylists – FYI they always have the BEST gossip on talent. I check in with that crew to make sure none of our clients are in trouble. The evening wrapped up at Temporary Spaces on Normandy and Fountain. Nothing like a dive bar for last call…

OK, so La La Land was crazy this weekend, at least for me it was. I was so happy to get back from NYC and sleep in my own bed. It rains too much in that city for my taste but their mani/pedi shops are better. Sorry LA…

The weekend started with dinner at Beso. It was my first time there and it was cool but there weren’t any celebs, just more people like me looking at each other. LOL. I was gleaming in my awesome jewelry samples from Disney Couture. The pumpkin necklace in ivory is just killing me right know…  I featured it on LaBuzzShop.com last week.

Then we were off to Teddy’s for a night of mayhem, possibly off to a mansion party in the Hollywood Hills but we would have to take shuttles. Ugh. Shuttles are tough but necessary in the hills because you can get stuck at the party and there isn’t enough parking.  Anyway back to Teddy’s! It was so packed and so much fun. One party go-er theorized that it was because Foxtail was lame the last few weeks so everyone is now coming back to the old favorite…

I have always loved hanging at The Roosevelt, mostly due to it’s location in relation to the rest of Hollywood.  After a lot of dancing we decided to bail on the mansion / shuttle headache and go to the 101 for late night grub… I love the 101 Diner because it’s such a hub of hot celebs. I’ve seen Justin Timberlake there twice this week and he really is that hot in person too.

I had a big night planned for Saturday, so calling the night was fine for me, I was pretty buzzed anyway. It was over a yummy Mickey Fitz that my friends expressed their dissatisfaction with shopping and realized they were too broke to buy gifts. That convo gave me the idea to have a Thanksgiving sale! Starting on Thursday, November 27^th through November 30^th, LABuzzShop will take 20% off selected jewelry from Disney Couture, Kidada for Disney Couture, Playboy, Nylon, and Warner Brothers.

Last night was sooo awesome! I went to the Obama victory party at the Hyatt in Century City and was completely amazed at how great the energy was between everyone. There was a real sense of HOPE amongst the very mixed crowd…

The DJ’s were great and the food was totally yummy too.  I did have a few cocktails but that was to be expected. J

Tonight is a vicious run of parties starting with Hyde then the Maxim party at Kress while finishing up the night with Bardot. I have to take a celebrity client out so we’ll get comped and cut the lines but not because of her but rather because I’m way dialed in with the yummy party boys of Hollywood. God, I am so spoiled…  Luv it!

I have to gift the model/actress client tonight thus I see some Kidada for Disney Couture in her future but her lame friends who always tag along will get a whole lotta NADA. They’re such mooches but I guess everyone wants to feel important.

Wow - this whole week has been crazy! All of our celebrity clients are driving me nuts! My boss, Cruella (just my nickname for her) has me shopping for Halloween Costumes for her, her kids and her clients, but not just any costume, really macked out custom stuff that is so expensive… Luckily she gave me the BLACK AMEX. Momma’s going shopping!

This weekend in Hollywood for Halloween is going to be so much fun! I’m going as 80”s Madonna a la Lucky Star and my boys are going as my back-up dancers!

To make my look work I grabbed a bunch of Kidada for Disney Couture wrap bracelets and necklaces to layer up my look.

I’ll be hitting up Coco Deville first... Hopefully I'll get a grab of Teddy’s before night end, we all know the Hollywood traffic tonight will be murderous. I will give weekend updates on Monday... Hangovers are frequent in my world. LOL

Websites apparently come with bugs, glitches and hiccups for the first couple days, so please be patient with my fledgling site.

My gang of homies and myself hit a few places last night but it was kind of quiet around La La Land. First we started at Magnolia for nibbles then jetted across town to HYDE in WeHo. It was a fun scene but the club is so small that it’s hard to get lots of peeps in… Luckily we’re on the good list and breezed past the celeb staling paparazzi. There weren’t any interesting celebs inside so I’m not sure why they were hanging out front.

We swung past Crown Bar and then Les Deux but my latest crush André was blowing up my Crackberry. I was trying to peace out on my homies so I could meet with André, but they were onto me so I had to chill at Le Doux for a while. By the time I could make my exit André had passed out, because he works for a big talent agency in Beverly Hills and has to be at work early, like 9 am or something…

Since starting the site my crew has been dying for some of the jewelry I have uploaded. The big favorites have been Disney Couture and Kidada for Disney Couture; Playboy is gettin’ some action, but White Trash Charms for Playboy pieces designed by Brooke Dulien are kicking some a**. She’s a super rad celeb stylist that knows everyone, so check her work…

So today I launch my new fashion website LA Buzz Shop because in LA most of the cool jobs don’t pay cash - they pay in perks.  Thank goodness I can’t buy food anymore it really helps to fit into my J brand jeans. LOL

Currently, I’m a junior publicist at pretty big PR firm working on go-for runs, celebrity ass-kissing stuff, event planning and gifting SWAG. BTW that translates in to “Stuff We All Get”. Cute right?

My troop of homies knock about Hollywood clubs during the week ‘cause all the good events are Mon-Thurs. Weekends are for tourists, sorry but it’s true with the exception of Teddy’s on Friday. Work with me kids and I’ll give ya’ all the lay of La La Land.

Last night my totally fabulous friend Max and I went cruising for cuties. We prepped at my pad. I decided to rock my new jewelry from Kidada for Disney Couture, which was a gift from the sales person for opening LA Buzz Shop as an account! I LOVE SWAG! Layer me up with enough Tinker Bell to float away, if it’s good enough for Paris then who am I to question…

After grabbing dinner at Katsuya, we headed over to Night Swim at The Tropicana Bar poolside in The Roosevelt Hotel. So many cute EMO/INDIE Rocker boys! They look really dirty but for most of them it’s just a lot of hair product although sometimes there are some stinky ones. J

My outfit was totally adorable and my Disney Couture Jewelry made me look so Gossip Girl! It was a blast, at one point I had plenty of hot guys all vying to chat me up. It was awesome.

For the future of this blogging thing, I’m going to keep it open forum and have my friends chime in as well.
